Dear Nathalie We are nearing the end of our building project, to convert our house for wheelchair access and instal a through lift from our sitting room to bedroom. Thank you so much for recommending Rupert. I want you to know that Rupert and his assistant, Charlotte, were wonderful. In January I was given the diagnosis of a progressive neurological disease and I knew that I had to reconfigure my house urgently. Rupert carefully considered my projected needs, researched the exact requirements for my lift and speedily produced drawings. He negotiated with lift companies to ensure I bought the most suitable lift for my wheelchair and that it was installed as soon as possible. Doorways were widened , a bedroom converted to an ensuite bathroom and a utility room changed to a disabled toilet. It was important to me that the conversion was sympathetic to my house, with it’s many original features. The final result has enhanced the house and made it much more beautiful. Rupert made use of the original features , designing practical usable spaces. He project managed the work, representing me in negotiations with the builders and ,understanding the urgency, ensured that they kept to a very strict time line. Charlotte and Rupert kept weekly eye on the site and kept us informed on progress. They involved us in the design ,showing us options at each stage and tactfully guided us through out. They tolerated a certain amount of dithering ,when i was not sure what I wanted and were kind and flexible when I changed my mind. I am very happy with my new home , the whole process has made the last 6 months more bearable for me and allowed me to focus on my future with some optimism , this is in no small part due to the graciousness and professionalism of Rupert and Charlotte.

It has been an absolute joy to work with the Team. They completely embraced the brief of 'comfortable without looking too styled' and their attention to getting even the smallest detail right was impressive. Their flair with both colour and pattern gave us the confidence to make adventurous decisions that have really worked. The flat now works as a harmonious whole and we are delighted with it.
