Richmond

Richmond Park, now a national nature reserve, was created by Charles I as a deer park and still has herds of red and fallow deer. Many splendid, frequently listed, Georgian homes can be found on Richmond Green and Richmond Hill, considered two of the most sought-after areas. Richmond also has detached and terraced Victorian houses and cottages, period conversions and modern flats, especially in the Ham area. The Alberts, a row of Victorian cottages built for railway workers, are a popular choice for families with young children.

Close to Richmond, Sheen, Kew and St. Margarets are also highly desirable locations.
