Renovation of a lateral apartment in a Grade II Listed Stucco building in Holland Park, London. The apartment had previously been renovated in a minimal, contemporary style. Traditional architectural elements were reinstated in keeping with the style and period of the property. Bathrooms were refurbished, the existing kitchen was upgraded, and bespoke joinery was designed throughout.
A calm, elegant, timeless interior was created using a muted colour palette. Interest was added with the selection of finishes and layering of textures. Each item of furniture and light fitting were viewed as a potential heirloom for the next generation. Vintage pieces were carefully mixed with new, and some of the Client’s existing items were repurposed.
